My research consulting is priced on an hourly (80 to 120 USD per hour) or contract (fixed monthly payments) basis. The former is most appropriate for specific assessments or analyses. The latter is particularly helpful for setting up flexible, uncomplicated, remote collaborations that involve more general involvement in the project and/or data interpretation and presentation; compensation is often similar to that of an moderately experienced postdoc.

Contracts are usually based on a research proposal and/or are arranged according to agreed upon deliverables, deadlines, and/or contribution. For language services, based on the language, length of the document, level of intervention, specialization, and expected deadline, the pricing for each project may be different despite similar word and line counts. Writing coaching or publication consultation can be integrated into the fee for a larger document (e.g., a dissertation or book) or can be compensated on an hourly basis.

My general fees for common services are listed below in USD. Upon request, fees will be converted into Euros, Korean Won, or other currency during invoicing. A rough estimate can usually be directly calculated based on word or line count of the text. When a mixture of services is required or requested, an hourly rate may be more advantageous for both me and the client. Translation is almost aways calculated based on normalized line count of the original document. Overall, my aim is to find an individual solution for each client.

Please note that I offer discounts for repeat private clients and corporate clients with longterm project commitment. I am also open to discussing interest-free payment plans.
